Knicks Fall to Kings on Buzzerbeater

The short-handed Knicks finished up a three-game west coast trip in Sacramento on Friday night. Upstate New York native Jimmer Fredette netted 15 off the bench as the Kings led by as much as 27 in the second quarter. However, the Knicks regrouped after halftime. Jason Kidd drained a step-back three with six minutes to go put New York in front by two. And the Knicks clinged to that slim lead in the closing seconds as Sacramento frantically attempted a final shot. James Johnson's desperation three-pointer swished through the net as the final buzzer sounded to give Sacramento a thrilling 106-105 victory.
