The Nets eyed back-to-back wins as they hosted the woeful Detroit Pistons. Gerald Wallace's tip in tied the contest at 90 late in the fourth, as the contest would eventually head to overtime. Joe Johnson's floater evened the game at 100, as a second overtime would be needed to decided a winner. Johnson drained the jumper as time expired in the second extra period lifting Brooklyn past Detroit, 107-105.
